Trip Itinerary:
Sat 5/29
Meet at St. Hedwig Parking Lot at 6:45 AM Sharp
We well depart for the San Pedro Sea & Air
Terminal at 7:15 AM
If you are late, meet us at the San Pedro Sea & Air Terminal at 7:50 AM
Distribute supplies, tents and food.
Board boat and depart at 8:50 AM
Pick up/eat lunch in Avalon. (you may pack a lunch if
you please)
Hike to Blackjack, 9 miles uphill or hike the last 1.5 miles of a steep grade via Safari Bus.
Sun 5/30
Wake up at 7:00 AM prepare breakfast, break camp at
9:00 AM
Stop for lunch along the trial, some hikers may opt to go the extra miles and
have a buffalo burger for lunch at the Airport in the Sky.
Hike approximately 6 miles to Little Harbor or 10 miles via Airport route.
Mon 5/31
Wake up and prepare breakfast, break camp by 8:30 AM
Hike 6.3 miles to Two Harbors.
Lunch at Two Harbors (ice cream yum!)
Be at Two Harbors Terminal no later than 1:30 PM
Boat departs at 2:15 PM
Arrive at the San Pedro Terminal at approximately 3:30 PM
Scouts need to carry their own gear and a
portion of troop supplies, your tent, food and water. Please leave space
in your pack to help carry your share of the load.
Tip: Do not forget your sock liners, on a
hike of this distance blisters are always a challenge. Drink lots of
water.
