Los Alamitos Combined Services Training Base 

Camporee will be held again this year at the Joint Forces Training Base in Los Alamitos.   This is a fun event where the scouts will compete in patrols and have an opportunity to meet scouts from the other troops in the Orange Frontier District.  The competitive events are all based on basic scout skills (First Aid, Knots, Lashings, etc.)
Friday night we will setup our camp on the base grounds starting around 4:30 pm.  Parents should drop off scouts and their gear directly at the troop site on the base from 4:30 - 5:00 on Friday afternoon.  We need lots of help to setup camp.
We will cook dinner on Friday night and also provide the usual meals on Saturday and breakfast on Sunday morning.  The Camporee is concluded with an awards ceremony on Sunday morning and then we break camp.  Parents should be prepared to pick-up scouts about 10:00 am at the base.
