Activities: The troop has booked 4 cabins that will sleep 9 persons per cabin at Camp Tahquitz,

which is located near Barton Flats. Depending on the snow conditions at Bear Mt. there

may be a ski trip on Sat or just a hanging around the camp - hiking - working on scout

skills and snow play if there is any. The camp has flush toilets and showers.

Cost: $25 per Scout / Adult (Cabin Rental and Meals)

Directions: The Camp is located along State Highway 38, approximately 25 miles between Redlands

and Big Bear Lake. From to Interstate 10 Freeway in Redlands, take the Orange Avenue

exit and go north to Lugonia Avenue/Hwy. 38. Turn right on Lugonia and follow the

signs to Angelus Oaks/Big Bear. The camp is six miles past Angelus Oaks. From the

main stone gate on the right (south) side of the highway, it is less than ¼ mile to the

central camp parking lot at the commissary.
